Access is over either side into the spacious aft cockpit. There’s a large, full width aft seat. Under the seating is stowage and port side provide access to the crew cabin. The crew cabin is fitted with a berth, sink and manual sea toilet.
There’s also a very large lazarette within the aft cockpit plus access to the flybridge.
The flybridge has ample seating and a stainless-steel radar arch.
There is a set of sliding patio doors leading into the bright and airy saloon.
Port side has a large ‘L’ sofa whilst opposite is a tub chair and a cabinet with draws, cupboards and surface space. Engine access is below the saloon.
You then step up to the lower helm which is port side and benefits from the popular twin helm seat. (AC/DC Switch panel below).
The helm is original and in good condition. The navigation equipment is also original, but not all of it is functioning i.e. the radar and autopilot. Engine hour gauge displays just 2218hrs.
Opposite the helm is the stb side galley. The galley is well appointed and equipped with a four ring hob, high level oven, fridge, twin round stainless steel sinks, ample storage and work surface space.
Port side is the twin berth guest cabin. This is fitted with two single berths, modest wardrobe, draws, reading lamps and opening portholes.
Opposite is the shower and toilet compartment. This is fitted with a hand basin with an up and over shower head, manual sea toilet, large mirror, surface space and opening porthole.
Then forward again takes you to the master cabin. This benefits from the desirable centre island bed. The cabin is fitted with a wardrobe, cupboards, eye level storage, reading lights and opening portholes.
Ocean Challenger is also fitted with heating, so you can enjoy her all year round.
Ocean Challenger was surveyed 1 April 2019 and is available to read on site only. I have been told that the faults highlighted in the survey have been rectified by a local marina.
