Built by Porter Brothers in 2003, owned by me since 2005 White deck, light grey hull with a blue waterline stripe. Proctor spars. Rigged for racing with spinnaker, centre-sheeted main. It is with great sadness that I am selling my racing Wayfarer, sail No.11422. This boat has all the racing extras and the list price new, in June 2023, was £21,250. The boat, being less than a year old, is still immaculate, as is the combi-trailer. This Wayfarer, fitted with a 40kg ballasted centreboard, makes this the most stable 16ft Cruiser ever designed and built. Even in string winds, single-handed, the Helm was able to pull up the Asymmetric Kite and sail with ease. The extra weight of the ballasted centreboard made the boat even more stable.
